2008 Relay For Life. The South Australian Fan Force took part in The Cancer Council South Australia's Relay For Life, on the weekend of March 29-30 at Victor Harbor. This year SAFF fielded one team, with the 501st Terror Australis Garrison also having a team.

"The Relay for Life is fantastic carnival style fundraising team event to fight cancer".

One Man Star Wars Trilogy Royalty Theatre Tuesday March 11 - Saturday March 15 at 6pm each night. The Force is with this obsessed Canadian performer who delivers the first three Star Wars films in one hour of cannon-blashing and light sabering. Charles Ross does everyone from Chewbacca to Darth Vader, including all sound effects as this one-man Milennium Falcon takes to the stage. SAFFers and 501st members were present and in costume on several nights, with Saturday 15th being the night when most SAFFers attended. Click here for more information on the SAFF boards.

2008 SAFF Open Day Adelaide High School, Sunday March 16, 11am - 3pm. A fantastic day was held, with displays, films and a discussion from acclaimed author of Star Wars - The Force Unleashed (among many others!), Sean Williams.
